The high-speed catamarans between Ystad in southern Sweden and Rønne cross the Baltic in about 80 minutes — the shortest and most frequent connection, running year-round with several daily departures in summer. It's the route most travellers to Bornholm take, whichever country they start from.

All three routes carry cars, motorhomes and bicycles — reserve space early in peak season.
Dogs and cats travel with a valid EU pet passport; on some routes they stay in the vehicle, on others a cabin makes sense.
Prices are dynamic and rise noticeably in high season (June–August) — book early for the best fares.
Sassnitz–Rønne only runs seasonally, while Ystad–Rønne and Køge–Rønne operate year-round — plan your return accordingly.
